Prashant Lokhande

Prof. Prashant Lokhande helped Navi Mumbai Police, Mumbai Police and Thane police in solving many landmark cases, few important cases are : Asst. Police Inspector Ashwini Bidre Murder case, IED Bomb blast case, Serial Rapist case, Multi state vehicle theft case, Thane, Credit Card Debit Card Skimming gang, Navi Mumbai case, Facebook Defamation cases, Data theft cases, Indian Navy Pakistani spy attack case etc. by providing technical assistance. He consulted Navi Mumbai police in more than hundreds of cases.

Awards and Felicitation

1) He was awarded and felicitated by Indian Navy with “Shield of Honour”, for his help in Cyber security at Naval Base Camp, Karanja, Uran.

2) He was felicitated by Navi Mumbai Crime branch for his help in Rape and Murder case.

3) Felicitated with emblem (Manpatra) by Commissioner of Police, Navi Mumbai on the eve of Raising Day ceremony.

4) Home Minister of Maharashtra awarded him with “Yashwant Sanman Puraskar” for his contribution in the Cyber Security and Digital Forensics field.
